Biological Safety and BBP Training is available for researchers and others who may handle, store, manipulate and/or dispose biologic and recombinant materials. The training provides a review of biological safety and bloodborne pathogen exposure control principles, practices, and guidelines as required by the CDC/NIH Biological Safety Guidelines (BMBL); the NIH Recombinant DNA Guidelines; and the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. This training is required for all personnel who work with or may be potentially exposed to human blood, blood products, human tissues, human body fluids, human cells lines (including those obtained from commercial sources) as well as recombinant materials.
