I am a resident on campus, a member of the Albert Dorman Honors College, a peer mentor for the Learning Communities and a math tutor at the tutoring center. I love to sing and listen to music, and in my free time I enjoy reading. I hope to travel the world one day!
Why I chose to attend NJIT:
One of the main reasons I chose NJIT was because of its small classroom atmosphere. I am a very hands on learner, and being in a class with only thirty or so people makes it easier to connect and learn. I could not imagine sitting in a huge lecture hall with two hundred other people and being able to achieve anything. I also chose NJIT because it has a very well reputed BME department that offers many research opportunities to its undergrads.
What I like best about NJIT:
I really like the small campus, I can wake up thirty minutes before class and still be on time, and I never have to wait for a bus to get to class. I also appreciate all the opportunities that are available to us
My goals after graduation:
I still have a while to go before graduation, but after getting my bachelors in BME I hope to go to medical school and one day become an E.R. doctor.
My advice for prospective students:
Being a BME is not easy; it requires a lot of effort and dedication. Stay active and do not procrastinate on your assignments because once you fall behind it is really difficult to bring yourself back up.
