The presentation will outline trends in the size and structure of the ‘MedTech’ industry, and identify forces driving change and opportunity. The potential roles of artificial intelligence and robotics will be considered. Potential points of entry into the industry and sources of information and contacts will be discussed.
Bio of Richard Russo
Richard’s career spans 40+ years in the medical products industry, with experience in both large global companies and start-up ventures. His functional experience includes sales, product management, clinical research, regulatory affairs & quality assurance, strategic planning and general management. His product or sector experience includes orthopaedic and spinal implants, allogeneic and xenogeneic tissue implants, and bone growth stimulation. He is currently CEO of Endomedix, Inc., a medical device start-up that is developing hemostatic devices for safer and faster brain and spinal surgery. Prior to Endomedix, he was CEO of a French company processing and marketing allogeneic and xenogeneic tissue implants for musculoskeletal surgery in Europe, Latin America and Asia.
