About Me:
I am a Christian who loves God let's make that known first! Thereafter I am an out-going and amiable individual.  I invest in my friendships at NJIT, To this day I have friends who I call family since I transferred from Middlesex County College (MCC). I have a Associate of Science Degree in Engineering Science.  I love my family more than Panera Bread!! By the way Panera bread  is my second home !!

Why I chose to attend NJIT:
NJIT was my first choice for when I transferred from MCC. I like the close knit community NJIT has to offer. The class sizes replicate MCC. The professor can answer your question knowing they have a smaller class. The name - New Jersey Institute of Technology - has prestigious ring to it. I know many individuals who graduated from NJIT in different engineering disciplines and were able to attain a job.

What I like Best About NJIT:
This year as a Junior I realized how many academic opportunities NJIT offers!! For example there are at least two Career Fairs that host many branded companies that are willing to give students internships and jobs. NJIT has a variety of workshops that one can attend and even earn a certificate.

My goals for after I graduate:
My first goal after I graduate is to get a job in the Biomedical/ Bio-Pharmaceutical Industry. I am eager to get into drug delivery! I want to target bones to eliminate osteoporosis and other illness in the body.

My advice to prospective students interested in Biomedical Engineering at NJIT:
Speak to fellow students and graduates. Talk to academic advisors of the department to get a handle on what is expected of a student in the BME program. I take 12-15 credits a semester which is manageable for me, therefore do not overwhelm yourself with classes take it slow, if need be. Join BME related events and clubs, not just to have it on your resume, but to have a social life!! Students who form relationships academically have a higher percentage of succeeding .
