I am really interested in motion and understanding the complexities of how and why things move in order to aid in rehabilitation, specifically on lower body, orthopedic injuries. On campus, I am in the Albert Dorman Honors College, a member of CORE lab and run distance on the NJIT Cross Country and Track teams.
Why I chose to attend NJIT:
I chose to attend NJIT because it was close to home and provided me with the most opportunity to excel, particularly because of how recognized our BME department is.
What I like best about NJIT:
I really enjoy the diversity that NJIT provides, my hometown and high school were very different. I was never exposed to a variety of cultures, religions, and races that can be found here and I think it is important for a person to be able to acknowledge everyone's differences and treat them with respect and understanding, both in the workforce and in life.
My goals after NJIT:
I plan on working in industry where eventually I will earn my MBA and try to make myself an integral component of a company's success while trying to help as many people as possible.
My advice to prospective students:
If you want a real education that can provide you with the tools necessary to succeed in life as well as the workforce, NJIT is the place to be.
