About me:
I am a third year student pursuing my bachelors degree. At NJIT, I am an E-Board member of the A’Capella Team. I love to sing and play the guitar. If you’re lucky, you might be able to catch me singing around campus! Going to the gym is another activity I am passionate about. One might say that I’ve become one of the gym rats here.

Why I chose to attend NJIT:
One of the biggest reasons why I chose NJIT was because of the fact that NJIT is one of the few universities that promise financial aid. The financial aid and scholarships that I have received made it possible for me to attend NJIT without spending a dime! Also, students, who graduate here were known to work in jobs with high initial salaries. Going to college without worrying about financial aid and having a promising salary after graduating? That sounds too good to be true. Welcome to NJIT.

What I like best about NJIT:
In my opinion, I love the community here at NJIT. Everyone in the BME department is a family. You will most likely have the same classmates for almost all the years you attend here as a BME.

MY goals after graduation:
I plan on studying at a graduate program after I graduate. I also want to start planning a company with some of my close friends. By combining biomedical engineering, computer science, and art, we want to create something that is a direct manifestation of our individual majors.

My advice to prospective students:
Always be prepared. Don’t let your guard down. College is not something you should take lightly. However, as long as you learn to balance your priorities, you will be able to succeed and have fun simultaneously! Seriously, don’t focus all your energy into studying and work. Make time to go out and explore campus and the clubs that are offered here.
