Class standing:

About me:
I have one older brother and one older sister, one of whom is in college. I am a Half Jamaican- and Half Iranian- American and have been blessed with the opportunity to travel to different parts of the world.

Why I chose to attend NJIT:
A highly rated Bio-medical Engineering program, undergraduate research opportunities, financial aid, and it is close to home.

What I like best about NJIT:
NJIT has many different groups who , collectively, match my core values 1 to 1.

My goals for after I graduate:
I plan to continue my education and eventually pursue BCI, or brain computer interface, research.

My advice to prospective students interested in Biomedical Engineering at NJIT:
The curriculum is designed for a reason even if it is not apparent to you now. Take every moment as an opportunity to learn. BME is a field designed, by its very nature, to bridge disciplines and apply seemingly unrelated concepts together in order to find a fill a need.
