I have two younger brothers, one of which is in college. Additionally, I have moved around a lot and have lived in Texas, Wisconsin, Mexico, New Jersey and now I live in Pennsylvania.
Why I chose to attend NJIT:
A highly rated Bio-medical Engineering program and it is close to home.
What I like best about NJIT:
NJIT has a great BME program which coupled with affordable cost means that the relationship between my capability to learn isn't inversely related to my ability to afford to do so.
My goals for after I graduate:
I plan to apply to graduate schools and continue on until I have a Ph.D at which point i hope to perform research on man-machine interfaces.
My advice to prospective students interested in Biomedical Engineering at NJIT:
BME is great in that all students in the department must know some Chemistry, Physics, Advanced Mathematics and Computer Science. However you can spend your entire life here and never learn everything there is to know, so chose the depth of your education so that it aligns with your interests.
