Title:
Neuroimaging with DTI and fMRI (and combining them)
Abstract:
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a useful tool for neuroimaging. I will discuss my research with two complementary applications of MRI, namely functional MRI (fMRI) and diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), which are respectively used to study processing and structure within the brain. Each method is commonly used and has many applications to both healthy and patient populations, and I will also discuss trying to combine these methodologies directly within studies.
