Title:

Cardiorespiratory Impact of Electromuscular Inference Exposure in Law enforcement Trainees

Abstract:

Electromuscular Interference (EMI) devices are popular among law enforcement officers.  Although these devices are deployed daily across the country, there remains scientific questions regarding the physiological impact on the body beyond the ability to incapacitate a human.  Here we update our results on an ongoing program to detail the cardiovascular and respiratory impact of the these devices on law enforcement trainees exposed as a component of their training to use the devices.
