A primary goal of the Neuroengineering REU site is to promote the increase of demographic groups that are underrepresented in graduate programs.

We are committed to have a significant portion of the participants to:

• be part of an STEM minority group,
  
• have documented disability—i.e., a disabling physical, medical, and/or physiological condition, and/or
  
• be from an undergraduate school with limited research opportunities.
